Kevin and Carl swim from pier to pier

Kevin Andrews persuaded fellow director Carl McCrudden to join him in this year’s Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim on 14th July, raising money for the British Heart Foundation’s research. This swim is 1.4 miles of open water between the Boscombe and Bournemouth piers.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people still lose their lives. It’s only thanks to support from people like Kevin and Carl that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 pays for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps. Kevin and Carl raised further valuable funds adding to last years total of £1140. Many thanks everyone for their generosity.

Good luck for the 2020 swim! The good work will doubtless continue.
